My Ethos
Being a mother of two boys myself and having had experience of relying on a Childminder to look after the most precious people in my life, I feel I understand the importance of finding the right environment for your little one.
My aim is to provide a home from home experience for the children in my care, whilst actively encouraging and promoting their learning and development. I feel I provide a nurturing, fun and caring environment which enables children’s individual personalities and interests to flourish.
The safety, welfare and happiness of the children in my care is paramount and I believe it is vital to work in partnership with parents, carers, schools and other childcare professionals to ensure this. I have thorough policies, procedures and risk assessments in place, which are all underpinned by the Early Years Statutory Framework.
I will focus on the seven areas of learning and development using a range of free play, child led and adult led activities to help support and prepare your child for school and beyond.
I hope that all children and their families will be very happy in my care and I hope that my personable nature and welcoming environment will encourage a two way relationship built on open communication and trust.
